Abacus 21's Broadcast Messaging System (part of its Concierge software suite) is featured in "Intelligence by Design" article in the April 2006 issue of Hospitality Technology (see the 'A Personal Connection section).
A Personal Connection -
At the Core Club in New York City, instant customer service is key. The establishment is invitation only to join, and serves some of the most elite socialites in Manhattan. Located in a 30,000 square foot building, the club contains fitness facilities, a spa, and rooms for cultural events and private movie screenings.
Members are assigned Core Consultants, a personal concierge-style service that can be accessed instantly using wired and wireless smart phones provided by the club, or through the client's own telephone. When a member joins the Core Club they are given a unique phone number that dials directly into the club's central system. When a call comes through, the Abacus 21 (abacus21.com) Club Management System (Concierge module) recognizes the customer's number, checks the back office database for the corresponding consultant, and patches it through automatically, according to Hosam Ramadan, IT director at the Core Club.
