The CardFive Software (Design & Production Printing functions) can be secured as follows:
Go to File-Login's:
The Administrator User ID is already pre-established. Other User ID's (like 'Staff') can be created (each with different privileges):
Notice in the above screen that the 'Disable Login Control' is (initially) checked... meaning that Login Security Control is "Not Active" -- it is Disabled.
The following screen shows typical settings associated with the Administrator:
In some cases, the Card Administrator would also be set so that they 'Can configure Printer' -- or this may be reserved for the Network Administrator.
The screen below illustrates typical setups for a normal Photo ID Card User: Staff
The 'Staff' User can only Print Cards.... not change Log-In rights, not Design Cards, and not Configure the Printer.
Notice in the screen below that the Administrator has initiated Log-In Security (see the Check Box has been Un-Checked):
Subsequent sign-in to the CardFive software will require a Log-In and Password -- which will in turn associate the respect privileges with the User:
