Abacus 21 has a number of 3rd-Party PMS (Property Management System) Interfaces -- as well as its own Room Accommodations module.
Various Abacus sub-systems (such as Point-of-Sales, Banquet-Catering etc.) need to know which particular Hotel-Interface is involved -- if it is.
Note: These Hotel-Interfaces are sold separately... as is Abacus 21's Room Accommodations Module.
Here is an example that sets up the Abacus 21's Room Accommodations Interface:
The Interface Type(s) are pre-defined by Abacus 21. (Call if you do not see the appropriate one.)
The Default Client is that Client-ID that will be used for these Types of POS-posted Transactions.
Note that it is activated for only certain Sections.
Post-in POS-Register indicates that the Hotel-posting will be done also via the POS-Register Posting Process.
Here is another example -- for Fidelio-Opera (utilizing Micros-8700-Protocol):
This Interface has a separate Flag to 'Restrict Cash Guests' from posting to their Folio (unless they have a Credit-Card on File).
