Abacus 21 Home Page

So far the year has seen several high's and low's in activity around the Club.  Our Clubhouse activity has been moving along a at record pace while our golf course activity has been below par caused mainly by the weather.  When rain causes a shutdown of our course we never make up the lost revenue, but fortunately the dining room and special events have enabled us to offset some of the losses.

We have been very successful is recruiting new members but there are still openings for about twenty regular members.  Full membership is vital if our Club is to remain competitive in the private country club market.  With the addition our our new swimming pool facilities we can present our club as one of the finest full service clubs in the area.  I have had many members sharing comments that they hear from their guest as to how beautiful our club is.  We can be proud of our club and we should be anxious to share our Abacus 21 Club experience by inviting our friends to join our Abacus 21 Family.

Some of our members have expressed dissatisfaction with our new score cards.  The decision to go to a more traditional type of score card was made by the board based mainly on the old classic country club image we are trying to project and not as a money saving measure.  As a result of all the negative comments the Board voted to order our old card to replace the card currently in use.

The remaining Club Social Calendar has many fun-filled events so be sure to check it out and make reservation for your family and guests.

Our Clubhouse, the wonderful staff, the premier course, the new pool, and the tennis courts are all here for the enjoyment of the members and guests.  Take advantage of the many opportunities the Club offers.  Always keep your Club in mind when considering a place for that business meeting or family event.
